Someone once said, “Make friends with pain and you’ll never be alone.” No one is immune from the tragedies and difficulties that can befall us in life. Hardship, disease and death affect us all. Even the godliest of people suffer. Sometimes the problems are of our own doing, sometimes not. But there will almost certainly be some hard times for all of us. We often wonder where God is in the midst of these struggles. It is here that we ask the hardest question of all: WHY?
